  • Faculty Spotlight

    Dr. Linda Lee (Read bio) facilitates the popular Mainpro-C workshop, Diagnosis and Management of Patients with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and Dementia, providing pearls to family physicians that can be applied at a primary care level.  

    In the April 2015 issue of Canadian Family Physician along with Dr. George Heckman and Dr. Frank Molnar, Dr. Lee published Frailty: Identifying elderly patients at high risk of poor outcomes, an article to help family physicians better recognize frailty and its implications for managing elderly patients.  The article is eligible for Mainpro-M1 credits.

    Family Medicine Forum 2015 logoThe OCFP is pleased to be co-hosting the 2015 Family Medicine Forum with the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Taking place from Nov. 11-14 in Toronto, the event is Canada's largest and most comprehensive annual conference for family physicians.

    Call for abstracts: The CFPC is currently accepting abstracts for the 2015 Family Medicine Forum. To find out about the types of submissions being accepted and the deadlines, visit the FMF website.

    The next OCFP Annual Scientific Assembly will be held in November 2016.
