Accredited online learning module available about radon

OCFP is pleased to join with Health Canada, the Clean Air Partnership, and McMaster University to offer practical information that family doctors can use to answer patients' questions and proactively inform them about the risks of radon.

Radon is the second-leading cause of lung cancer in Canada and the number one cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. It is found in all parts of Canada. The good news is that there are steps Canadians can take to reduce their risk.

Free online learning module
Inform yourself about radon by participating in the accredited online learning module Radon: Is it in your patients' homes? The module takes approximately one hour to complete and is eligible for one Mainpro-M1 credit.
